Experiences of Pierre and Danielle from France

Good day! This is Pierre and Danielle from France, and we are from Normandie, 

during my trip in Kazakhstan I met with wwoof-host in Almaty and some body doing biogas and organic fertiliser, and they do not seem very interested in organic certification because as far as nowdays almost nobody cares about organic products in Kazakhstan.
What I call wwoofing is willing work on organic farm and because there is almost no organic farm in Kasakhstan, every thing has to be done here. It is difficult to do wwoofing in Kazakhstan.

What I would call wwoofing, is a small farm even not certfied but not using pesticide, who are very pleased to meet foreign people, it’s needed to be ensured that people who are coming can help or if they have no work to do, then they should pay for accomodation without food. 

I am thankful to wwoof hosts for every things that was done for us and it was great to be received by wwoof-host, to translate in English the visits to the local farms.
